Anodized blocks resist corrosion and feature alpha/numerical labeled rows and columns for easy vessel identification. Each block has a well for a thermometer (sold separately) and a block extractor hole.
Block Modules can be used in either an analog or digital dry bath incubator.

Stuart dry block heaters are designed for precise heating of test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes, and microtiter plates. The "number of blocks accepted" indicates the number of single-width blocks accepted by each heater. A heater that accepts two single-width blocks will also accept one double-width block.

Depending on the combination of blocks selected, plastic spacers (36620-67) can be used to fill a half-width recess, ensuring optimal thermal performance. Most blocks come with a separate hole to accept a thermometer. Order a flexi-block to accommodate multiple size tubes, vials, or cuvettes at once. Unskirted PCR plates can be heated in either size flexi-block. Skirted microtiter plates, deep-well plates, and PCR plates can only be incubated in the triple-width version.

Grainger Block 35 X 2.0Ml
The Grainger Approved Block 35 X 2.0Ml is a block of 35 2.0ml microcentrifuge tubes made of polypropylene. The tubes have attached domed caps and are graduated. They are sterile, DNase/RNase free, non-pyrogenic and non-cytotoxic. The tubes have a working volume of 1.5ml and can withstand centrifugal forces up to 20000 x g. The tubes have a shelf life of 5 years when stored at room temperature. The tubes are sold in packs of 500.
